The Funck Shop is an event organiser whose mission it is to:

- Set a platform for upcoming and established local DJ's to enthrall Namibian dancers.
- Introduce Namibian club goers to up and coming dance music from South Africa and the World.
- Provide an event where Namibian club goers can experience all that dance culture has to offer.
- Give back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to selected charities. Charities will be approached and given the opportunity to submit a request for consideration.

The team is made up of:
Chris de Lange - a long-time DJ in Namibia, who has played sets as resident DJ at Da Vinci's as well as at such esteemed venues as Equinox and Amphi's.
Nicole Nel - owner of a design, marketing and events company with over 5 years experience these industries and once a member of the team that put together such events as Decorex SA, the Beauty Africa expo and the Franchise and Business Opportunities Expo (FBOE) in Johannesburg, to name a few.

The Funck Shop is being formed, not to make the members money, but, on the one hand, to bring events to Namibia that Namibians can be proud of, and on the other hand to raise money for the underprivileged people out there that really need it and rarely get a second thought from Namibia"s youth. They - the youth -are being given the opportunity to help those less fortunate than themselves, whilst having the time of their lives.
